** Please do not buy more? HP consumer level **
I had a 2. 5 years old C5180 all in one. I probably printed more than 10 color photos (which USC? Large) suddenly today I have multiple failures of ink – color cartridges that were between 30% and 80% of employment shows empty even though I could print in color the day before.
I followed the exact procedures on HP’s site to reset the printer to no avail. I am a software / hardware engineer and know my way around electronics.
Their business / laser printers seem to be of quality, but all their stuff seems to be regular consumers built for great job for a year or two and then die, forcing you to buy again. Not to mention the prices of the ink psycho.
Then again my HP printer? died after warranty, and everyone wants to do for me? a:
1) Sell me a new printer or renovated in a ‘discount’ that ends up being or in the vicinity? (Within $ 20) at current prices Amazon!
2) I charge $ 45 for the printer resolution
Do not be stupid like me. This? the third printer I had problems with, and not make the same mistake again. I urge all others to look elsewhere for printers.

I would like to give this unit? the benefit of the doubt. It seemed pretty nice, but then in reality? I never got it to work. And ‘failed during the initialization process of a paper jam irreparable (“carriage jam”). HP support (via chat) tried directing me to do all the things I had already? found on the web, more? telling me to plug “directly into the wall socket. No luck so? I decided to resume soon and not risk a second. Moreover, it seemed strange not I use a surge protector with it. I thougth this thing was green. How much power do you need?
