My parents are finally getting pissed off with the very old Dell that we have and say it’s time for a new desktop. So should we get an HP and risk being pissed off with Windows again… or spend some extra money to get an iMac? My parents will be using it for general computing while I’ll be using it for my music, videos, possibly games, etc. (Yes I know about the whole game thing with mac’s so you don’t need to take that into consideration) thanks.

I have a hp pavilion a620n desktop. It has windows xp home and runs amd athlon. It has 160 hard drive and 512 ddr and can run a max of 1gb of ddr in a combined of two slots. It has no graphic card. Can you help me and give good but cheap ideas to upgrade my computer so it isn’t so crappy.

During a power outage, my new HP desktop was surged and the power supply needs to be replaced.
Its sitting in Circuit City and I need to buy a new part to replace the supply, but I have no idea how much to pay for it, or how many watts I need.
My Desktop is the HP MediaCenter M1000. How much should I pay? How many watts do I need?
Any suggestions?
